Details

What makes boulder opals so unique is that the gem's host rock (unpolished brown area) is left on the back of the opal instead of being polished out. I love the juxtaposition of the unpolished and polished nature of boulder opal.

It is unlikely to find a matched pair of opals with similar patterning and colors. This pair of opals are violet in color with flashes of cobalt blue, and emerald green.  This bespoke piece features settings that have been entirely made by hand, following the exact shape of the opals ensuring greater security.
